NASCAR: Kasey Kahne's Charlotte Victory Foreshadows Potential Chase Run (Bleacher Report)
Analyzing the remarkable turnaround in Kasey Kahne’s season over the past six Sprint Cup race weekends. In his first season driving for Hendrick Motorsports, the Washington native fell to as low as 32nd in points before stringing together an active streak of six consecutive top-10 finishes.
Things finally started to come together at Texas, where Kahne scored a seventh place finish. The next day, he scored a confidence-boosting Camping World Truck Series win in NASCAR’s return to Rockingham Speedway. Since that weekend, he hasn’t finished worse than eighth in a Sprint Cup event.
